A farm in a high-hardness area should plan for daily or every-other-day acid descaling rather than the standard every-3-days protocol. Regular inspection of circuit surfaces for milkstone buildup (visible as yellow-brown discoloration on cleaned surfaces) is the key monitoring tool.
